Title: Sirene.
Date: 1982.
Technique: Gouache on vellum.
Measurement: 100 x 70cm.
Notation: Signed lower right: Hödicke.
Codnition:
Minimally wavy due to the menufacturing process. One slight bumping with two minor tears in the lower left margin (each: ca. 0,5cm). Verso traces of the creation process and remians of an old mounting. Otherwise in good condition.
Quote form teh artist:
"Sirenen sind sehr erotische Wesen. Sie betören nicht allein durch ihren Gesang, sondern auch durch ihre sinnliche Nacktheit, die sie mit ihren Schwingen bedecken, was sie aber nicht unbedingt tun. Sie haben etwas Exhibitionistisches. Mir gefällt die Idee, dass sie auf der Lauer liegen und auf ihre Opfer warten." (Source, see below.)
