LARGE LONG-NECKED VASE WITH POPPY DECOR.
Legras & Cie. Saint Denis.
Date: 1900-1914.
Technique: Uncolored glass, underlaid in red-orange with green metallic glitter fusions. Overlay with yellow powder fusions.
Description: Blown into shape with bulbous, triple-notched belly. The side with matt, etched decor. In
the area of the poppy blossoms subsequently incised with a needle. At the end of the neck
etched and gilt geometric decor.
Measurement: Height 59cm.
Mark: Abraded signature on the bottom.
