LIDDED CHALICE.

Date: 18th century.
Maker/Designer: Presumably Lauenstein/glass factory Altmünde.
Technique: Clear glass.
Description: Large lidded chalice from the middle of the 18th century. Nodus with seven inset bubbles.
On the elaborately designed bowl a knight's coat of arms with floral cartouche, Hamburg
city gate and inscription "Floreat Hamburg".
Measurement: Height 31,5cm.
