SMALL GLASS VASE "PHÄNOMEN" MODEL FOR THE 1900 PARIS EXPOSITION.

Loetz Witwe. Klostermühle.

Date: Ca. 1900.
Maker/Designer: Decor 'Opal Phänomen' Gre 358. Attributed to Franz Hofstötter.
Technique: Overlaid glass, opal-yellowish, in the lower part combed in a wave pattern, dark violet decor with silver-yellow, in the middle part silver-yellow threads and in the upper part red-orange with silver.
Description: Baluster-shaped foot, merging into a cuppa shape with flared rim at the top.
Measurement: Height 16cm.
Mark: Inscribed on the base "Loetz Austria", matte-engraved.
