MAGNIFICENT BAROQUE WRITING CABINET À TROIS CORPS FROM A PRINCE-BISHOP'S ESTATE.

Main-Franken.
Date: Around 1760.
Technique: Walnut, maple, partially ebonised.
Description: On the bottom a chest of drawers, on four small console feet, with three drawers and a
curved front. Recessed writing compartment, flanked by two small drawers on each side. The
top with a large central door and raised centre, four small drawers on each side. Cube
inlays on the sides and on the shutter, ligature monogram "AFS" inlaid on the central door
of the top.
Measurement: 212x136x73cm.

Provenance:
- Prince-Bishop Adam Friedrich Count of Seinsheim (1708-1779).
- Johann Bernhard Kamm (1736-1816), court sculptor to the prince-bishop and active under Adam Friedrich Count of Seinsheim, since then in family possession.
- Through inheritance in Bavarian private collection.
