LARGE PORCELAIN ENSEMBLE 'THE LOVE LETTER' ('DER LIEBESBRIEF').
Meissen.
Date: 20th century.
Maker/Designer: Model M. V. Acier.
Technique: Porcelain, painted golden and in colours.
Description: On a large mound base two young ladies with elaborately decorated clothing. At their feet
two doves and a love letter. On the right at the hem of one lady a rose bush, on the left
behind the other a column decorated with flowers, on it a vase and a quiver as well as a
bow.
Measurement: Height 25cm.
Mark: Marcollini mark, painted blue under glaze.
