PORCELAIN TRAY WITH WATTEAU PAINTING.

Meissen.
Date: 1774-1817.
Technique: Porcelain, painted sparingly in colours.
Description: The shape elongated octagonal. The sides with blue ground and gold ornamentation. In the
centre of the tray a large Watteau painting with three gallant ladies in a park landscape.
In their centre a gallant gentleman whose hat has fallen to the ground. At the side, on
the right, a servant bringing wine and observing the scene.
Measurement: 39,5x25,5cm.
Mark: Marcollini mark, painted blue under glaze. Blue painter's mark F and two dots.
