SMALL LIDDED TUREEN WITH PRESENTOIR.

Meissen.
Date: 18th century.
Technique: Porcelain, decorated with colors and gold, the foot with metal mounting.
Description: Footed tureen of compressed spherical shape with yellow rose as a knob and two side
handles. The lid and the bowl are each decorated with two bird depictions inside reserves,
framed by golden leaf rosettes. The surface is covered with light blue forget-me-not
blossoms in relief. Presentoir with curved gold rim. The rim is decorated by four bird
depictions inside reserves, the rest is pierced in fine flowers and tendrils. The center
again with light blue forget-me-not relief. Inside the stand with finely painted insects
on white ground.
Measurement: Ø presentoir 25cm, height tureen 11,5cm.
Mark: Swordsmark.
