SMALL PORCELAIN TEA POT WITH KAKIEMON DECOR.

Meissen.
Date: 1763-1774.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours.
Description: Small bulging jug with a curved handle. The spout is short, moulded and decorated with
'Indian' flowers. The wall decorated in underglaze blue and glazed peony blossoms and
flowering branches. The rim of the jug is decorated with iron-red ornamentation with a few
blue and gold accents.
Measurement: Height 9,5cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze with dot.

Provenance:
Bavarian private collection.
