MIXED LOT: MOURNING RING AND ART-NOUVEAU-PENDANT-NECKLACE.
Origin: Presumably England.
Date: 1759 and ca. 1900.
Material: Ring 750/- yellow gold, tested, black enamel. Necklace 333/- yellow gold, tested, pendant silver, tested, white and green enamel.

Diamonds: 2 diamonds in rose cut Ø ca. 3,0 mm.
Gemstones: 1 faceted violet gemstone ca. 5,3 x 5,5 mm, 1 cushion-shaped orangeish red gemstone-glass-duplicate ca. 9,5 x 7,4 mm, 2 round faceted green gemstone-glass-duplicates Ø.
Organic Matter: 3 round silvern mother-of-pearl elements Ø ca. 2,5 - 5,5 mm.
Description: Extravagant Art Nouveau gemstone pendant of silver, decorated with mother-of-pearl and coloured enamel. Originally connected to the twisted golden necklace, Mariage.
The curved, enamalled mourning ring is engraved around, presumably with: "JAMES HILLOW OB:27 JULY 1759 AE:44.".
The proceeds will go to a charitable foundation

Condition: according to age in good condition, minor to medium traces of wear, the silver at the pendant tarnished on both sides, verso casting spurs visible, enamel slightly rubbed. Orange gemstone duplicate with scuff marks.
Engraving on the ring partially no longer legible, violet central stone shows light chipping, enamel with abrasions.
