Date: 20th c.
Maker/Designer: Design, shape and decor H. Gradl, ca. 1900.
Technique: Porcelain, painted in colours and gold.
Description: Consisting of:
a tureen (height 16cm, width 28,5cm)
a large fish platter (60,5x29cm)
a sauce boat
and 8 plates (ø 24,cm).
Dynamically curved Art Nouveau shapes. Green and purple-brown decor with golden accents. All pieces decorated with fish and other small aquatic creatures such as snails or tadpoles. Some stylized water plants.
Mark: Manufacture mark in green with A for Duke Albrecht, impressed mark, decor numbers.
