Description: Open tailcoat clock, à goutté on the pendant, polished and unadorned on the back. Crystal glass domed on the other side. Engraving on dust cover "Mode for the Cowell & Hubbard Co., Cleveland Ohio By Patek Philippe Co. Geneva No. 96661.
Concentric Arabic hour numerals, tritium coated hands, Arabic 5-minute markers in red, recessed small seconds at 6th steel hand blued and pear-shaped.
Bridge/coil movement, 17 jewels, wolf-toothed winding mechanism, Swiss lever movement with balance/counterbalance lever, escape wheel under cap jewel, compensation balance, breguet spring, crank disc fine adjustment, movement signed "The Cowell Hubbard Co. Cleveland Ohia", further with "Patek Philippe Co. Geneva No 9664".
The jeweller's shop Cowell & Hubbard was founded in 1861 and dealt in (wholesale) watches, gold and silverware and jewellery.
