Title: Die abstrakte Psyche.
Date: 1930.
Technique: Oil and tempera on cardboard.
Mounting: Laid down on hard fibre.
Measurement: 45,5 x 60cm.
Frame/Pedestal: Framed (57,5 x 72,5cm).
Condition:
Traces of an old mounting on the edges (due to manufacturing process?). Occasional minimal bumping to the edges. Retouching to the lower left corner (visible under UV light). Occasional minimal rubbing to the surface. Occasional retouching and overpainting visible under UV light at the upper left margin, in the yellow circle at the upper left, at the lower edge, in the upper right corner area and at the upper centre of the elliptical shape. Otherwise in good condition. Not examined out of the frame.
With an extract from an exhibition catalogue in digital form the Galerie am Sachsenplatz, Leipzig. The work is illustrated there and a monogram and date are mentioned, which can be found on the verso of the sheet but is concealed by the lamination.
