Oyster Chronograph. Origin: Switzerland, Geneva.
Date: Around 1940.
Clockwork: Manual winding, Chrono Cal. 13''' VZ Valjoux, 17 rubies.
Case/Wristband: 750/- yellow gold, mushroom head pusher, black leather watchband with pin buckle, screw-in back, gold plated metal dial, black indices, blued hands.
Total Weight: ca. 51,5 g.
Measurement: Ø 35 mm, length 22 cm.
Case-No: 47255.
Reference-No: 3525/8.
Description: Rolex chronograph with 30-minute indication at "3" o'clock, decentralized seconds at "9" o'clock. Dial with tachymeter scale and telemeter scale. The caliber 13''' VZ Valjoux repurchased movement, similar to the later Valjoux Cal. 23 movement. Beat rate of the balance 18,000 R/H, 48-hour power reserve, chronograph ratchet, surface of the movement polished, rhodium-plated, signed. Swiss lever escapement, blued Breguet hairspring.

The watch is illustrated in "Die Noblen aus der Schweiz" by J. Michael Mehltretter, published by Heel, 2006, p.167. Estimate from Rolex, Geneva dated 02/2023 enclosed.
