Description: On a flat, oval plinth a male skeleton in a beggar's clothing. The tattered cloak is
loosely wrapped around the emaciated body and he wears a wide-brimmed hat on his curly

down towards the ground as a reminder of death.

The virtuously carved figurine of Death as a beggar, demonstrates the highest level of
craftsmanship. At the same time, however, it is a haunting reminder of mortality.
