FRAGMENTS OF A LATE GOTHIC PROCESSIONAL CROSS MADE OF GILT COPPER.
Spanien.
Date: Presumably 14.Jh.
Technique: Wrought, gilt copper.
Description: Consisting of a mount, five medallions and corpus Christi. Corpus as a three-nail type
with a wide loincloth and fine head and beard hair. In quatrefoil medallions depictions of
pelican, Mary, John, Mary Magdalene and Evangelist are. All parts mounted on a modern
steel cross.
Measurement: In total 81x42cm.
