STANDING BODHISATTVA MAITREYA.
Origin: Pakistan. Gandhara.
Date: 2nd/3rd century.
Technique: Greenschist.
Description: Architectural fragment. The richly draped robe covers the left shoulder and a wide sash
hangs down in a long curve. Around the neck a necklace and a chain on the exposed chest.
On the head a turban. The right hand is raised in abhaya-mudra, the left hand is cut off.
Measurement: 43x17x7,5cm.
