SMALL STOUP WITH DEPICTIONS OF THE CHRISTENING OF CHRIST AND THE CRUCIFIXION MADE OF BOXWOOD AND GILT AND SILVER-PLATED BRONZE.

Date: Presumably 18th century.
Technique: Carved boxwood. Gilt and partially silver-plated bronze.
Description: Vaulted and pierced pedestal with acanthus leaf decoration. The baptism of Christ in the
centre of the basin wall, angels floating on the sides. At the top a praying nun above a
crucifixion group.
Measurement: Height 18,7cm.
