Private collection Bavaria, acquired Christian Eduard Franke art dealer, Bamberg.
The small console table comes from a Venetian doll's house. These had a great tradition in 18th century Venice, similar to that in Amsterdam, which reached far back into the 17th century. They were exquisitely furnished, for which the very rare console table with its silver-plated frame is an eloquent testimony.
