LARGE GLASS SOLIFLORE WITH RARE DAFFODIL DECORATION.
Daum Frères. Nancy.
Date: Ca. 1900.
Technique: Acromatic glass with partially white and light yellow interior overlay. The lower part with blue powder inclusions. Overlay in green and yellow. Partially reworked with the wheel.
Description: The mould has a recessed upper rim and a stepped base. Etched decoration of white
daffodils on the walls, which have been reworked with the wheel in the area of the leaves
and flowers.
Measurement: Height 52,6cm.
Mark: On the foot inscr. 'Daum Nancy' with the Cross of Lorraine, engraved.
