MINIATURE GLASS VASE WITH ORCHID DECORATION AND MARTELÉE CUT.

Date: 1895-1898.
Technique: Acromatic glass with milky-white interior overlay. Overlay in violet.
Description: The mould with a long, funnel-shaped neck and spherical body on a small base. The wall is
decorated with glossy etching in black and purple with a tall orchid on a marbled
background. The flower stretches along the narrow neck of the vase. The sheets of the
flower on the belly of the vase.
Measurement: Height 19,5cm.
Mark: Marked 'Daum Nancy' on the bottom, engraved.
