SMALL GLASS VASE WITH GOLD BORDER AND FINE FLORAL PAINTING.

Date: 1895-1900.
Technique: Acromatic glass with milky-white interior overlay. Overlay with enamel decoration and heightened with gold.
Description: The small soliflore with a spherical belly and a slender neck with a slight goblet shape
at the top. The upper rim with a gold ring, from which the finest gold lines run down.
Etched ornamental relief on the spherical belly, decorated with gold and enamel in a
second step. Roughly etched sides with fine paintings of small flowers running from the
foot behind the ornamental band to the neck of the vase. The base again with a gold ring.
Measurement: Height 18,2cm.
Mark: Marked 'Daum Nancy' on the base with a Lorraine cross, enamelled.
