Beringer, David. 1756 - 1821 Nürnberg

Date: End 18th century.
Technique: Wooden body with copper engravings, brass, acromatic glass, amongst others.
Description: Wooden cube with 5 sundial faces and brass gnomons. The dials with allegorical scenes in
reddish colouring. The east clock with scale and lead solder for setting the latitude.
Mounted on a turned foot with joint on a wooden base with inset compass.
Measurement: Height 17,5cm.
Mark: Signed in print "D. Beringer" (David Beringer, master 1777, Abeler, p. 61).
