SMALL WOODEN CASSETTE WITH SCENES FROM GENESIS.

Date: Late 16th c.
Technique: Wooden centre with bone with engraved decor. Covered inside with light blue silk.
Description: Rectangular shape on small spherical feet. Along the sides, oval scenes from Genesis with
the creation of Eve, the entry into Paradise, the Fall of Man and the Expulsion from
Paradise. On the verso, Christ's prayer on the Mount of Olives and the Lamb of God. Floral
engravings on the top.
Measurement: 10x19x12,5cm.
