IMPORTANT BUDDHA IN ROYAL REGALIA.
Origin: Sino-Tibetan.
Date: 18th/19th c.
Technique: Copper bronze. The tendril pattern of the garment is completely overlaid in silver repoussé. Also the lotus base and partly with residue of gilding.
Description: Seated in padmasana and his hands in dhyana mudra. His remarkable garment decorated with
rich tendrils. Base closed and probably ritually filled.
Measurement: 498g, h.12.7cm.
