IMPRESSIVE PENDULUM CLOCK WITH ALLEGORY.

Musson. Paris

Date: 1st half 19th century.
Technique: Gilt bronze, red marble.
Description: Rectangular marble pedestal with bronze applications on pressed spherical feet. Next to
the stela-shaped clock case the fully sculpted figurine of woman in antique robes, holding
a laurel wreath in her left hand and a torch in her right. Dial with Roman numerals. Large
14-day pendulum movement with thread suspension, half-hour strike on bell.
Measurement: 66x39x16,5cm.
Mark: On the dial inscr. "Musson à Paris".
Enclosed: P&K.
