Technique: White marble. Gilt and patinated bronze applications. Enamel dial. Wedgwood plaque.
Description: Portal-shaped case decorated with chains, drapery, cupid pillars and vegetal relief
applications. Two fully sculptured putti flanking the enamel dial with Roman numerals and
minute track. Crowned by a framed Wedgewood plaque with a portrait of Louis XVI and the
inscription "LOUIE XVI RESTAURATEUR DE LA LIBERTE FRANCAISE". 14-day pendulum movement
with thread suspension and half-hour strike on bell.
Measurement: Height: 54,5cm.
