VASE-SHAPED PENDULUM CLOCK.
Turin.
Date: 19th century.
Technique: Gilt bronze. Enamel dial.
Description: Square plinth with ram decor on four flattened ball feet. An top a baluster-shaped case
with applied relief ornaments and lateral mascarons. Over it, seated on the shoulders, two
empire ladies with festoons. Urn crowning. Round dial with Roman numerals. 14-day pendulum
movement with thread suspension and half-hour strike on bell.
Measurement: Height 43,5cm.
Mark: On dial inscr. "L. Lacoix à Turin" (1833).
Dial damaged.
