BRONZE CASSOLETTE LOUIS XVI.

France.
Date: End of the 18th c./ beginning of the 19th c.
Technique: Fire-gilded bronze, white marble.
Description: On a stepped, ascending round base with pearl decoration, a tripod supporting the urn vase
and crowned by busts of the god Mercury. The lid has a berry knob and, on the opposite
side, a candlestick holder.
Measurement: Height 25.5cm, with candelabrum 24.5cm.
