GREENHOUSE WITH LITTLE GARDEN.

Date: End of 19th century and 1920s.
Technique: Wood, papermaché, glass, cloth etc.
Description: The building on the front with green-framed sliding windows and a sign saying "Treibhaus"
(Greenhouse). On the side a small door. Inside, multi-storey tier for numerous flower
pots. The wall is painted blue. In front of it, a garden area to be built up with a white
fence, two planter boxes and here again numerous small trees and plants in pots.
Measurement: The greenhouse 33x35x14,5cm.
Provenance:
Private collection Bavaria, until then in the same private ownership since its creation.
The greenhouse with garden was passed down through generations in the family of the original owner. It dates from the 3rd quarter of the 19th century and was supplemented by the little garden around 1900. In the 1920s, the cold frames and the planters with the red-flowering trees were added.
