FIVE PLATES IN THE MANNER OF TO THE 'STADTHOUDER SERVICE'.

Meissen.
Date: Ca. 1770/75.
Technique: Porcelain, decorated in colours and gold.
Description: Scalloped gold rim with rosé-coloured and purple-coloured ring underneath. Paintings of
flower tendrils winding around the rings. In the centre of each piece one large
brownish-golden Rocaille cartouche in whose centre is a painting of various Dutch
cityscapes. Verso inscription of the views in black.
Measurement: ø 17,5-25,5cm.
Mark: Swords mark with dot, painted blue under the glaze. Var. potter's numbers.
