WOODEN POUDREUSE WITH FLORAL INLAY.
France.
Date: Ca. 1760.
Technique: Maple, rosewood amongst others. Woods polished and inlaid.
Description: Poudreuse with a curved body and pentagonal, curved legs. The top bordered all around with
a small rim. Inlay with floral vines and birds. A shallow drawer and a pull-out shelf in
the front. In the corpus two compartments, to be opened from the cover plate, in the
centre a stand-up desk.
Measurement: 73cm x 65cm x 45cm.
