Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours. Bronze mounting.
Description: Magnificent vase with lid and large bronze foot. Bronze handles on the sides and a dark
lapis ground with gold enamel decoration on the body of the vase. The front sides depict a
finely crafted landscape scene and, opposite, a love scene in a park with a fruit farmer
and farmer's wife in each other's arms.
Measurement: Height in total 74cm.
Mark: Signature "G. Poitvein" in the pictorial fields and a mark in the style of Sèvres on the base and lid.
